The farmers’ wood and rock homes, the fountains, and the vegetable gardens. We were declared one of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” because we take care and preserve the architecture from the past. But our community is the most beautiful thing here.
We love it here and decided to keep on living here and follow our passions. We’re craftspeople, and work with timber, copper, and felt; we’re bakers, cooks, and farmers.
When you stop by our stores and eat in our restaurants, you’ll support our economy as well as becoming part of the stories of the people who live here.
Stories like that of the ciuìga, a pork and turnip sausage invented by the village butcher at the end of the 19th century. A peasant food which turned into a bastion of slow food. We celebrate it in November every year at the Ciuìga festival.
