While the runners on the shores of Lake Molveno warm up with their final strides and check their laces, an entire community has already moved silently up into the Brenta trails. They are the carpenters, the workers, and the pensioners from our villages.
For them, helping to organise the Dolomiti di Brenta Trail isn't about logistics; it’s a ritual of hospitality. These volunteers are the guardians of the trail: they are there to offer a softly spoken word of encouragement, to run a safety check, or to hand a piece of chocolate to a runner with trembling legs.
