On the Pradel plateau, you can go downhill sledding on two slopes. With Molveno Lake in front of you, glide through the woods until you reach Andalo.
Here are the details:
- the descent is free, but the ascent is not, so buy your ticket at the La Panoramica cable car station in Molveno: single ride, three hours or all day;
- hire your sledge at the base or arrival point of the cable car;
- take the cable car and chairlift up to the Pradel plateau until you reach La Montanara mountain hut;
- from there, take the first slope, Scoiattolo, which descends to the panoramic terrace overlooking Molveno Lake;
- continue sledding on the Bambi slope until you reach Plan dei Sarnacli in Andalo. Here you can choose whether to return to Molveno on the free shuttle bus for another descent or stay in Andalo. You can leave your sledges on the shuttle bus.
Some useful information:
- helmets are compulsory, you can hire them at the sledge rental;
- for safety reasons, bobsleighs, plastic sledges and toboggans are not allowed on the slopes;
- if you have a valid Paganella Ski pass, you can also use it for the lift in Molveno;
- insurance costs only €3. We like to have fun safely.
