A change of perspective resonates with you

We wanted to see Lake Molveno filled with sailboats and children learning to sail – a community pursuing a shared passion.

When we started things in 2020, only five of us were sitting around my kitchen table. Today, members of the Velica Molveno sail club come from the entire plateau, Trentino, and overseas.

We purchased dinghies at first to teach children to get used to the wind, water, cold, and nature. They can experience the lake in its entirety, rather than just admire it from its shore.

We’ve got big dreams for the future: building a new jetty, organising lake races, and opening a yacht club. We can dream big because countless people support us – our volunteers, the Molveno and Paganella authorities, and the other sailboat clubs in Trentino.

If you or your children join one of our camps, you’ll learn the jargon, how to raise and drop a sail, and chart the course. But, most importantly, we’ll pass on what we feel when we set sail: the wind blowing in our hair, our wonder when seeing the Brenta summits, and a sense of freedom. A moment frozen in time.
