Accessibility in Paganella: a complete guide

Paganella Open is our project dedicated to a mountain without limits or barriers. Our goal is to make Paganella a fully accessible destination, where everyone can experience the mountains according to their own abilities and desires.

In collaboration with Dolomiti Open, Sportfund, mountain guides, ski instructors, and local guides, we are committed to expanding our inclusive offerings every year.

We actively work to provide initiatives and events that are

  • Set on accessible routes: carefully selected to ensure safety and comfort.

  • Tailored to all needs: suitable for people with motor, visual, or cognitive impairments.

  • Fully integrated: scheduled alongside all our other events in the main calendar, to guarantee a truly shared and inclusive experience.

Useful info for your holiday

With a valid disabled parking permit (such as a Blue Badge), you can park for free in any blue-lined paid parking space.

You are also authorised to drive on forestry roads that are typically closed to normal traffic. Please note, however, that a 4x4 vehicle and confident driving skills on narrow, unpaved tracks are essential.

The Trento-Malé railway, local buses, and ski buses are accessible. Please note that accessible stops are clearly marked with a corresponding symbol on the timetables.

For the regional buses connecting the villages year-round, the accessible service must be booked at least 36 hours in advance (excluding Saturdays and public holidays) by emailing prenotazione-se@trentinotrasporti.it.

Full details are available on the Trentino Trasporti website.

Concessions and discounts are available on lifts and cable cars for people with disabilities.

For full details on prices, terms and conditions, and the required documentation, we recommend contacting the ticket offices directly.

Our tourist board provides a range of adaptive equipment for people with disabilities, including: wheelchairs, monoskis, dualskis, Gotoski Baby, BASS, tandem bikes, handbikes, adult and child joëlettes, adaptive climbing shoes, ice skating frames, and adaptive snow sleds.

The use of this equipment is completely free of charge, but it is only permitted when accompanied by a qualified mountain guide or ski instructor. Please email marketing@visitpaganella.it for full details.

Here you can find all the restaurants and mountain huts certified by the AIC (Italian Coeliac Association).
